JECA or Joint Entrance Test is conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Board of the state of West Bengal. The examination is conducted with an objective to offer admissions to deserving and qualified students for Masters in Computer Applications courses offered by a wide spectrum of colleges and institutions in the state of West Bengal. The candidates interested to apply for this examination need to fill WB JECA Application Form.

# The Application forms for this examination are usually available from the month of April to May.
# The forms are available at any Axis Bank branches located in the state as prescribed in the form;
# The Cost of this Application Form- Rupees Four Hundred Only;
# The Application form is available online as well as offline;
# It can also be obtained from the Board conducting this Joint Entrance Examination;
# When buying the form offline through post, candidate needs to pay One Hundred Rupees more for the postal services;
# The Application Form needs to be submitted only through Speed Post;
# While filling Application Form, Zonal Codes also need to be mentioned;
# The candidates pursuing their Final year of the Bachelors’ degree can also apply for this examination;

# The examination has two papers;
# Hundred questions will be asked in each paper;
# Duration of Paper one is one and a half hours whereas the duration of the second paper is two hours;
# Paper one tests the aptitude skills of a candidate;
# Paper two is a Mathematics paper;
# Both papers carry equal marks, 100 marks each;
# There is negative marking too;
# The validity of the score accrued in this exam is for one year;

# The candidates interested in appearing for this examination need to pass Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized college, university and institute;
# Maths or Statistics must be one of the compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination;
# The candidate should be citizen of India;
# The rules regarding reservation will apply in accordance with government rules;
