TMISAT Exam Pattern 2014

Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test formally known as TMISAT is conducted to assess the students’ knowledge in science and technology domain. The main purpose of TMISAT is to admit the candidates in BS Marine Engg and Nautical Technology Courses. The exam will be hold by Institute at Twelve centers located across country.

TMISAT Exam Structure-2014

The exam structure of TMISAT is as per the course contents of Class 11 and 12th in Science stream (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry). The candidates have to attempt the paper comprising questions from these three areas along with English Language and Logical Reasoning sections. The summary of TMISAT Exam Pattern-2014 is given below.

Maximum Questions of TMISAT: 100

Paper Sections: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, English Language, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge Etc.

Paper Duration: 120 Minutes

Minus Marking: The negative marking will be assigned to questions from Mathematics and Physics. In all other areas, the candidates are exempted from negative marking.

Paper Mode: Online

Exam Centre: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaipur, Ranchi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Mumbai

Interview Date: The interview of the qualifying candidates will be completed on the very same date of exam date. The result of written test will be displayed just after the complete of exam session and thus the candidates able to secure minimum qualifying marks will be allowed to attend interview round.

IMPORTANT POINT: Any candidate who has taken the BITSAT-2014 are not required to take TMISAT Entrance Test as the score obtained by the candidate in BITSAT entrance test will be taken in to account for admission in Marine and Nautical courses.

Eligibility Criteria for TMISAT:

The candidates who have passed Class 12th from recognized Board with 60% marks and have not crossed the age of 21yrs are eligible for apply.
