The Anna University of Chennai welcomes candidates for enrollment in admissions in different MBA, MCA, M.E./ M.Arch./ M.Tech./M.Plan Programmes for the new academic batch every year. The University grants admission through a Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test i.e. TANCET conducted at different centers across Tamil Nadu.  Conditions of Eligibility:

M.Tech. in Apparel Technology Mgt: Candidates should be qualified with a B.E or B.Tech Degree with specialization in Textile, Textile Chemistry, fashion Technology, Leather Technology & Apparel Technology.

MCA: Candidates must have completed their Graduation with not less than 50% aggregate scores with Maths as a subject in Intermediate or Graduation.

M.E. in Construction Engg: Candidates should be qualified with a B.E or B.Tech Degree with specialization in Civil Engineering.

MBA: Candidates must have completed their Graduation with not less than 50% aggregate scores.

M.Arch: Candidates should be qualified with a B.Arch. or AIIA Degree.

ME in Environmental Engg: Candidates should be qualified with a B.E or B.Tech Degree with specialization in Civil, Environmental, Chemical and Geo-informatics Engineering OR Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.

 How to Apply:

Keen candidates willing for admittance in the Anna University may apply for TANCET by downloading the prescribed application form via Anna University’s authorized web portal i.e. annauniv.edu and forward the duly completed form to the given address accompanied with all other crucial copies of certificates and a Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for reserved candidates) drawn on any nationalized Bank, in favor of “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai” to be paid at Chennai within the announced due date:-

Admission Process:

The admission of qualified candidates to the aforesaid programmes will be based entirely on Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test or TANCET conducted by the Anna University, Chennai at various centers across Tamil Nadu. Applicants will be shortlisted on the grounds of their attainment of merit in this Entrance exam. Those, who do not qualify or appear in the same, will not be permitted for admissions.
