A few years back, I undertook an HVAC course at Colin, where my instructor was a man by the name of Michael Falvey. Over time, our camaraderie grew, and he became a helpful presence at the apartments where I am employed. I discovered I could confide in him, and he would share insights and offer valuable advice whenever I sought it. His absence will be deeply felt; I often referred to him as Bear. As I made my way to the lake yesterday afternoon, just before entering Adams County on Route 84 East, a massive black bear dashed across the road. A fellow traveler heading East also halted, and I followed suit. He asked if I had witnessed it, and I replied in the affirmative. As I continued my journey, it dawned on me that God possesses a wondrous sense of humor—an unconventional way of assuring me that everything will eventually be alright. Michael, you resembled a brother to me, and your absence will leave a significant void.

The funeral arrangements for Michael Wayne Falvey have been finalized for Wednesday, August 16th. The ceremony will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Red Star Ward, situated at 2155 Mormon Trail NW, Wesson. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Subsequently, a graveside service will take place after the funeral proceedings.
