MAT Admission 2014-15

The All India Management Association invites candidates for MBA admissions in different Business Schools (B- Schools) across India for the imminent academic batch every year. The organization conducts a common entrance exam, namely, MAT which stands for Management Aptitude Test for selection of eligible applicants. This year, MAT is scheduled on the 4th and 10th May, 2014. As the registrations for this examination is now closed, aspirants who wish to appear in this entrance exam, are advised to go through these details carefully and apply as soon as the next official announcement is made on its website i.e. aima.in .

Admission Conditions:

Candidates who wish to appear in MAT need to be at least a Graduate in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern. However, appearing students are also eligible to apply for this exam. Candidates, who do not accomplish these conditions, will not be eligible to sit for the MAT in any case.

Application Process:

All aspirants seeking to appear in MAT must accomplish the aforesaid academic pre requisite compulsorily. If so, they can register themselves online via its authorized gateway- aima.in . Candidate may also download the prescribed admission form and fill it properly as prescribed in official instructions as send it to the given address within the announced last dates. The candidates are also supposed to remit the charged application fee by the means of a DD amounting to Rs.1200/- favoring ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. After successful issue of the DD, applicants are requested to send the duly filled application form along with the DD and copies of other vital documents in support of their academic qualification. However, candidates may also obtain the prescribed application form and the MAT Bulletin against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from selected Nodal Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.

Scheme of Selection:

The selection of qualified applicants will entirely be based on the attainment of marks in the common entrance exam, namely, MAT (Management Aptitude Test) conducted by the AIMA on 4th and 10th May, 2014. Applicants can choose any one of the two options that are Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test to appear in the test. Qualified candidates thereon will be selected on the grounds of their presentation in this Entrance test and will be called further for GD and Interview. Applicants, who do not qualify this Admission Test, would not be entitled for admission in their preferred B-School.
