DSSSB Exam Pattern 2014 New Examination Scheme
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has announced the new examination scheme of the recruitment exams conducted under different posts by the organization. The candidates who are appearing in any of the DSSSB Recruitment Exams can take a note of the changed exam scheme from the official website of the DSSSB i.e. delhi.gov.in. The new examination scheme is available at the website for download under its Notice Board Section.

DSSSB Recruitment Exams 2014:
Exams organized by the DSSSB include the following:
1. General Posts for Pay Band I (LDC, Steno, Steno-Typist, Warder, Patwari, CW, Driver etc.)
2. Teaching Posts (Security Supervisor, DEO, Librarian, Assistant Sanitary Inspector, ANM, Veterinary, Livestock etc.)
3. General Posts for Pay Band II (Grade II- DASS/ Head Clerk, Assistants, etc.)
4.Technician Posts (Junior Engineer, Sub Officer, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Food Inspector, Wild Life Inspector, Section Officer (Horticulture), Junior Manager (DFC), etc)
5.Technician Posts for Pay Band II (Post Graduate Teachers, Junior Law Officer, Welfare Officer Grade II, Publicity Officer, District Staff Officer etc.)
5.General Posts for Pay Band II (Assistant Assessor, Assistant Manager, Assistant Law Officer, Manager (DSIIDC), Deputy Manager (DFC), Manager Mechanical, Assistant Architect etc.)

Scheme of Examinations:
1. General Posts Tier I:
There will be a 200 Marks paper containing objective type multiple choice questions on the following main topics:
General Awareness -40 Marks
General Intelligence & Reasoning- 40 Marks
Arithmetic & Numerical Ability -40 Marks
Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension- 40 Marks
Test of English Language & Comprehension- 40 Marks
2. General Post Tier II
There will be a 200 Marks paper of the same type as stated above and the tier II of the Question Paper is of 275 Marks which includes 75 Marks of descriptive paper and 200 Marks of objective paper. The Descriptive paper is based on two parts: Part I- Multiple Choice Questions on Subject /Qualifying Degree (200 Marks) and Part II- Descriptive English Essay Writing (50 Marks), Letter Writing/ Expansion of Ides in English (25 Marks) respectively.
