AIPGMET Admission 2014

 The Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre invites Indian medical aspirants for admissions through its much awaited AIPGMET (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test). This year, the AIPGMET will be taking place on 12^th April, 2014 at its University Campus in Pimpri, Pune. The advertisement for the same is also available on the official website- dpu.edu.in. Therefore, all keen aspirants are advised to read these details given carefully and submit their applications within the last date of 10^th April, 2014.

 Courses offered:

MD- Emergency Medicine (Subject to Final approval from the Central Govt.)

MD- Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry

PG DIPLOMA- Clinical Pathology (D.C.P.), Public Health (D.P.H.)

Eligibility Conditions:

Applicants should have cleared final MBBS examination satisfyingly under a recognized Medical College, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act. Apart from this, they must be registered either from the MCI or from authorized State Medical Council after finishing one-year compulsory rotating internship within 31^st March, 2014.

 How to Apply:

Applicants accomplishing the aforesaid conditions of eligibility, are supposed to go through the instructions available on dpu.edu.in and download the recommended application form. Information brochure along with a blank application form will also be available at the University Office on payment of Rs. 1,500/- in Cash or DD. Fill up this form accurately in your own handwriting in capital letters carefully without making any mistake. Make sure you fill in all the mandatory fields in the form, as failure in this might result in rejection of your form automatically. Paste a latest passport size photo of yours in the provided space. Finally, send the completed form along with essential credentials and a DD worth Rs. 3,750/- drawn on any nationalized Bank, favoring ‘The Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth’ payable at Pune within 10^th April, 2014 in an envelope superscripted with- “APPLICATION FORM FOR AIPGMET-II-2014” to this address:

 Admission Methodology:

Candidate need to secure at least 50% marks at AIPGMET-II-2014 to qualify for selection in the aforesaid programmes. The interim selection for the General Seats in the PG Programmes will be made on the grounds of merit in this Entrance Test. The relevant notifications will be published on the Vidyapeeth website as well as displayed on the Notice Board of the same for the subsequent selection round, to be conducted by the Competent Authority for vacant seats. A rational number of eligible applicants, as per the merit list, will be invited for Counseling and Admissions by the Competent Authority.
