DUMET Admission 2014

 The Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi recently invited applicants in the hunt for admissions in its MBBS and MDS programmes through an All India Pre Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT) scheduled on 4^th May, 2014.  Minimum Qualifications:

Students should have passed/ appeared their HSC under any school accepted by the government of Delhi or equivalent and meet the minimum mark percentage of 50% as prescribed by the university. However, reserved and physically disabled candidates will be relaxed with 5% of aggregate marks. This entrance exam is held entirely for the citizens of New Delhi. Nevertheless, students from other states can also appear in this exam as per the state quota norms laid by the government of India.

Limitation of Age:

Candidates must have reached the minimum age of 17 years for applying into MBBS/BDS programme. Those who do not accomplish this age limit will not be entitled to sit for the DUMET.

How to Apply:

Students fulfilling the set minimum qualifications need to apply through online mode via aipmt.nic.in. Fill all the required details on the e-application form, upload a soft copy of your latest passport size photograph, signature, finally submit this page and take a hard copy printed out of it. After submission of forms, all applicants are liable to make a payment of Rs.1000/- (Rs.550/- for PH, ST & SC applicants). This payment is to be made either by online or offline mode of Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card or Canara/ Syndicate Bank Challan. After successful payment of this entrance fee, applicants may send the duly filled e-form along with the DD and other important documents supporting your application to the recommended address through Speed/ Registered post within the announced last dates.

  Scheme of Admission:

The Delhi University Medical Entrance Test (DUMET) is an admission test conducted for admittance of engrossed candidates to Undergraduate medical and dental programmes- MBBS and BDS in different dental and medical colleges affiliated to Delhi University. However, this year the DUMET 2014 will not be conducted, rather the admissions will be based on AIPMT 2014 scores only which is scheduled on 4^th May, 2014.
