WBJEE Admission 2014-15
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board invited residents of West Bengal for registration to its upcoming batch 2014. The official notification for enrollment was available on wbjeeb.nic.in . The Board will select students through WBJEE also known as WB Joint Entrance Examination that is scheduled on 20th April, 2014 this year. This examination is conducted for admissions to different degree level courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Government Colleges as well as Self Financing Technological Institutes in West Bengal. Therefore, all engrossed students are suggested to go through the following list of particulars and apply as soon as the next advertisement is issued.
Applicants should be Intermediate pass (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination from a documented board of education, scoring at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for reserved applicants). Also all applicants should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in English.
Every general candidate is bound to remit INR.500/- as intimation or registration fee charged if applying for any programme. However, applicants including Chemistry will have to remit an application fee of INR.600. This payment is supposed to be made through Debit Card, Credit Card or Allahabad Challan.
Candidates who accomplish all the respective requirements of their desired courses are supposed to fill up the Online Application Form from its formal web portal- wbjeeb.nic.in . Enter all the mandatory details including personal and fee payment details. Applicants are supposed to remit the announced application fee through Allahabad Bank e-challan or Electronic Payment Gateway via Debi or Credit card. Once the payment is complete, you will receive a system generated receipt. These details are to be mentioned on the online application form. Finally, take a print out of the confirmation page and the completed form. Affix a recent passport size photo on the space provided and give your signatures where required. The WBJEE Board was shaped in the year 1962 for the motive of holding Common Entrance Examinations for the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal. The attempt of the Board has always been directed towards improvement of lucidity in conducting Common Entrance Examinations for various professional UG (Undergraduate) and PG (Postgraduate) level courses in the State through effective state-of-the-art technology. Online application and admission through e–Counseling is operational for the undergraduate level Engineering and Medical courses of the State.
