Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag, Jharkhand, came into being as a State owned University which provides both, teaching as well as affiliation to other colleges. The VBU was established on September 17, 1992, when the Ranchi University bifurcated via “Act 3 of 1990” conceded by Bihar Assembly. The University comes under the state of Jharkhand subsequent to the formation of this State on 15^th of November 2000. The head office of the University is situated at Hazaribag, a city of sylvan surroundings & calm atmosphere among fertile forests. Norms of Eligibility for M.Ed. Course:

The contender having B.Ed. Degree along with Post Graduation Degree from VBU or other Indian University recognized under the Government of India UGC Act having attained minimum of 50% score (in case of General and OBC) and 45% score (in case of Sc / ST).

Selection Criteria:

The marks obtained by the candidates in their Graduation or Post Graduation level course will be the ground for their assessment. The admittance of the candidates will be made on the basis of Merit and the prior education records.
