Vector Control Research Centre Admission

The Vector Control Research Centre, Pondicherry will be welcoming applicants for admissions for its impending academic session 2014-15 in a short while. Therefore, all aspirants are advised to keep visiting our site regularly and apply as soon as the official advertisement for admission is published on vcrc.res.in. Comprehensive Vector Control (6 weeks)

Applied immunology (6 months)

M.Sc. Public Health Entomology (2 years)

Eligibility Details:

M.Sc. Public Health Entomology: Applicants must be in possession of a B.Sc. (Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences / Medical Laboratory Technology / Microbiology / Biochemistry), B.V.Sc., M.B.B.S., or B.E., / B.Tech., degree with Biotechnology as one of the subjects from any University acknowledged by the Academic Council of Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

Comprehensive Vector Control: Applicants must possess any science or medical degree /diploma from an approved university/institution with experience in disease control, and preferably with a post-graduate/ doctoral degree.

Applied immunology: Applicants must possess M.Sc. Degree in Life sciences under Pondicherry Central University.

Selection Methodology:

The shortlisting of aspirants for admission will take place on the grounds of the attainment of marks in the Entrance Tests conducted by the University entirely. Qualified candidates thereon will be selected on the grounds of their presentation in this Entrance test. Candidates, who do not qualify this Admission Test, would not be entitled for admission in their preferred course.

Application Process:

Qualified and keen aspirants, who fulfill all the conditions of admission of their preferred course of study, are requested to download their respective application formats from the official website- vcrc.res.in. After downloading this form, they must deposit an application fee of Rs.100/- charged by the university through DD favoring “The Director, Vector Control Research Centre” payable at Puducherry. Once candidates successfully issue these payments, they are supposed to send the duly filled form along with the DD and copies of other required documents to this address:
