Calcutta University, Department of Botany has announced recruitments notification recruitment of Junior Research Fellow Posts by Walk-In Interview process, purely on contractual basis for the Project name “Identification of novel drought tolerant gene(s) by comparative analysis between rice and Sorghum: Isolation and validation through bacterial and in planta expression” sponsored by DST. Applicable applicants filling the eligibility criteria of the University, must appear in the Interview on 10th of April 2014 at 11 in the morning. Designation to be framed up for: Junior Research Fellow
Name of the Project:
Identification of novel drought tolerant gene(s) by comparative analysis between rice and Sorghum: Isolation and validation through bacterial and in planta expression
Project sponsored by: DST
Consolidated Remuneration to be paid to Recruited Aspirants:
Rs. 12,000/- or Rs. 16,000/- (as per the qualification possessed by contenders) along with HRA as per DST norms and Medical allowance as per University rules will be provided for selected candidates for an initial duration of 18 months.
NOTE: TA / DA will not be given to any Candidate for appearing in the Interview.
Required Qualification:
Aspirants must have Masters of Science Degree in any division of life science with NET qualification, NET (Lectureship) / GATE.
