Vacancy DetailsPost Name- Sports Person Number of Posts – 21 posts. Educational Qualification – The candidate should have passed 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for the post of Technician, Grade-III. For other categories, the candidates should pass 12th or Intermediate or equivalent. The candidate should fulfill the sports qualifications as mentioned in the official notification. Scale of Payment – Rs.5200-20200/- with a grade pay of Rs. 2000/- or Rs.1900/- per month. How to Apply – Candidates can send their application in prescribed format (written in own handwriting in English or Hindi) along with passport size photographs, two self addressed envelope and self attested copies o relevant documents, Demand Draft/IPO to The Assistant Personnel Officer (Rectt. & HQ), Room No. 416, Office of the Chief Personnel Officer,4th Floor, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad- 500071 (Telangana) on or before 17-10-2016. The envelope should be superscribed as “Recruitment against Sports quota for the year 2016-17 on South Central Railway and Game_____________” (name of the sports discipline). Mode of Selection – The selection will be made on the basis of trials, assessment of sport achievements, educational qualification and general intelligence and personality. |

Sports Quota Recruitment
Sports Quota Recruitment is being done by BSF i.e. Border Security Force for the year 2015 – 2016. BSF (Border Security Force) has issued an employment notice in order to recruit spots person for the numerous positions. The Sports Quota recruitment has a total of 346 sports person in Border Security Force (BSF). The Sports Quota Recruitment has 346 vacancies for both female and male sports person. The female and male sports persons will get an additional weightage now to make their career in Border Security Force. Special Recruitment for Sports Person on Sports Quota (both Female and Male)
Total Number of Vacant Positions: –
346 Vacant Positions
Distribution of Vacant Positions in terms of Male and Female: –
i) 241 Vacant Positions for Male Sports Persons
ii) 105 Vacant Positions for Female Sports Persons
Point to be Noted: –
The Number of Vacant Positions are tentative and are subject to change at any point of time by the authorities and recruiting cell of Border security force.
Scale of Salary Pay per month: –
The sports persons either male or female recruited by BSF under Sports Quota will get a salary scale of INR 5200 to INR 20200 with a Grade Pay 2000. The recruited sports persons will also be accepting all the other allowances as admissible to Central Government of India.
Range of Age Bar: –
The sports persons that wish to make their career in BSF should be of any age between 18 years and 23 years of age as on 1st August 2015.
Minimum Education Required: –
The sports persons will only be applicable for the recruitment under Sports Quota when they have successfully passed Matriculation i.e. 10th Standard exam from a recognized board of exams.
