Age Group- Minimum age limit for candidates is 18 years and maximum age limit is 29 years as on 1st of January, 2016. Aspirants who do not fall under this age limit are not eligible to apply for the concerned post.
Academic Qualification- Contenders applying for the given posts must have passed Class 12th examination or its equivalent from a known Board, along with this, candidates applying for the posts of Accounts Clerk cum Typist & Junior Clerk cum Typist must have English typing speed of 30 wpm and Hindi typing speed of 25 wpm.
Selection Methodology- Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written / Online Test and Typing Test.

RRB (Railways Recruitment Board) has issued an employment notification in order to recruit officials for the vacant seats of Junior Engineer, (Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant) and Senior Section Engineer (Chief Depot Material Superintendent). Salary Pay Scale Structure: –
i) Junior Engineer: –
INR 9300 to INR 34800 with a Grade Pay of INR 4200

Minimum Eligibility Criteria: –
i) For the Seats of Senior Section Engineer (P –Way, Bridge, Drawing/Design/Estimation, TMS and Research Engineer): –
The officials must have done Four years Bachelor’s Degree i.e. B. Tech. in Civil Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of the basic streams of Civil Engineering from an authorized University or an Institute.
ii) For the Seats of Junior Engineer (P –Way, Bridge, Drawing/Design/Estimation, STR and Research Engineering): –
The officials must have done either 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering OR B. Sc. in Civil Engineering of 3 years duration OR a combination of any sub stream of the basic streams of Civil Engineering from an authorized University or an Institute.

Range of Age: –
i) Junior Engineer: –
The officials those are willing to apply for this position must be of any age between 18 years to 32 years.
ii) Senior Section Engineer: –
The officials those are willing to apply for this position must be of any age between 20 years to 34 years.
iii) The relaxation in age will be applicable as per the government of India rules and norms.
Payment of Application Fee: –
The officials belonging to General and OBC and open categories have to pay an amount of INR 100 as an application fee. The officials belonging to SC, ST, Ex – Servicemen, Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities or Economically backward categories do not have to pay the application fee.
Procedure of Applying: –
The officials can apply through online mode only; separately for SSE and or JE positions. The application to more than one RRB for the same group will lead to rejection of all the applications for that group. The officials are advised to carefully read the instructions before applying Online.
