The Punjab University Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) 2014is conducted for admitting students in the different under graduate and post graduate courses of the university. The university entrance exam is conducted every year in the months of April/ May respectively. The exam is the qualifying test for the admissions of eligible candidates in the following courses: Bachelor of Science (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) and Bachelor of Science (Tourism Management) respectively.
The Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test is conducted for all the candidates who have passed Intermediate from the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi or any other equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or in English and other compulsory subjects for this purpose.

Online Results Downloading Criteria for the PUTHAT 2014 –
A) The candidates who have participated in the Punjab University Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test may view their results online from the website puthat.puchd.ac.in.
B) Go to the Login Page from the left hand side menu bar having all the links related to the results under the Main Menu.
C) Use your unique Login ID and Password for accessing the results online.
D) Sign In and see all the details related to your exam and results from the concerned page.
E) The applicants can thus save and Print their results generated in this manner.
The candidates will be called to attend the counselling for the final admissions at the dates specified for this purpose. The candidates having their names in the merit list as per the required cut off marks -15% for UR; 10% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates respectively will be called up for the counselling. The candidates can also avail the answer sheets for matching their answers on paying Rs 10,000 within ten days from the date of results declaration.
