Post Name – Medical Officer (AYUSH), Medical Officer (Mainstreaming of AYUSH)

Number of Posts – 741 posts

Pay Scale – Rs.22000/- (AYUSH), Rs.20000/- (Mainstreaming of AYUSH)

Educational Qualification – The candidates must possess BAMS/ GAMS/ BUMS/ GUMS from a recognized university or college with completion of internship or must possess BHMS / DHMS from a recognized university or college with completion of compulsory internship.

Its main aim is to provide accessible, affordable and quality health care to the rural population. It is a sub mission of National Health Mission. Under NHRM, North Eastern States, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have been given special focus. The Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) have been engaged under this mission for the fulfillment of its aim.
