Academic Requirements:

All applicants must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from any of the specializations of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering from the top 15% in the centrally Funded Technical Institutes like IIT, NIT, IIIT, etc. However, other aspirants who are in top 15% rank from AICTE or UGC approved Institutions or Universities (Non- CFTIs) and having a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply. Selected applicant will have to give option of not more than 2 IITs, to complete M.Tech and Ph. D. A candidate will be offered Trainee Teacher Scheme only after selection by IIT for M. Tech. and Ph. D. programme.
