The admissions to the NIT Calicut are done similar to other NITs through the common entrance exam conducted at national level by CBSE. The Joint Engineering Entrance Main Exam is conducted every year in the May/June months for admissions to all the NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating state governments and other institutions participating in the concerned entrance exam. The applicants qualifying the JEE Main Exam may apply to the NIT Calicut Courses as per the merit and cut off marks decided for this purpose.

a) The NIT Calicut Admit Cards can be accessed online at the website of institute or JEE Main at jeemain.nic.in.
b) Go to the admit card downloading links available at the website home page for concerned entrance exam.
c) The links of “Download Admit Card” shall open a new window for downloading it online.
d) Enter your registration number/ application number and password in the window.
e) Use the Login tab for searching and downloading your online admit cards.
f) Save and take print outs for the NIT Calicut Admit Cards in this way.
