NIPGR Delhi has released their notification regarding admission process for Ph.D programme in their Institution. Candidates those who have completed their Master degree and willing to take admission for Ph.D program can start applying via online mode. About NIPGR Delhi
National Institute of Plant Genome Research commonly known as National Centre for Plant Genome Research was established in year 1997. NIPGR is poised to contribute towards frontier areas of Plant Biology such as, Computational Biology, Plant Immunity, Molecular Breeding, Genome Analysis and Molecular Mapping, Nutritional Genomics, Plant Development and Architecture, Molecular Mechanism of Abiotic Stress Responses, Transgenics for crop improvement and other emerging areas based on plant genomics.
Offered Course
NIPGR Delhi is currently accepting admission form for the Ph.D course. Aspirants those who have passed their Post Graduation can apply for Ph.D course.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed their M.Sc degree in Life Science or in concerned discipline with 55% marks and must have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET Exam/DBT-JRF/ICMR NET Exam for JRF for organizing advanced research in the frontier areas of Plant Biology such as, Plant Immunity, Transgenics for Crop improvement, Molecular Mechanism of Abiotic Stress Responses, Nutritional Genomics, Plant Development and Architecture, Genome Analysis & Molecular Mapping, Computational Biology, Molecular Breeding and other emerging areas based on plant genomics
Selection Mode
Applicants will be selected on basis of Interview only. No other mode will be conducted for selection process.
Application Fee
Aspirants those who are willing to take admission in Ph.D course have to submit application fee as per amount mentioned below:
(a) UR: Rs.300/-
(b) SC/ST: Rs.100/-
Mode of Payment
Payment of application fee will be done only via demand draft drawn in favour of “Director, National Institute of Plant Genome Research”, payable at New Delhi
