EAMCET 2014 Exam Pattern for Admissions to Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Courses
The EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is the qualifying entrance exam conducted for inviting admissions to different under graduate as well as post graduate courses available in the fields of Engineering, Agriculture and Medical courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is organized every year by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad to provide admissions in various professional courses available in the private as well as government colleges in the state.

Exam Pattern for EAMCET 2014:
The candidates applying for the EAMCET should qualify in the written exam conducted through paper pencil modes at the exam centres as specified for this purpose. The written exam is a three hour paper having multiple choice questions of one mark each on the following main topics:
Mathematics: 80 Questions
Physics: 40 Questions and
Chemistry: 40 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 160
Total Marks Allotted: 160 Marks
Duration of Exam: three hours
Some Points to be kept in mind for EAMCET 2014:
1. The question paper will be having questions in either of the following languages: English/ Telegu/ Urdu respectively. Those candidates who wish to give their exams in the Urdu language should make sure that they choose the Hyderabad centre only for the exam as it will be only at this centre the exams in Urdu will be conducted.
2. The candidates can use only Blue/ Black Ball Point Pens for answering questions in the OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Sheets as provided for this purpose
3. There is no negative marking in the exam hence, the candidates can attempt as number of questions as they like provided they fetch them marks.
Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates opting for this exam should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed in the following main subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Bio Technology or Biology with 45% as the minimum marks to be obtained in the qualifying examination for this purpose.
