Guidelines for Fellowship Programmes:

1. Candidates at the end of Fellowship period need to submit a monograph on the basis of Research project. The Monograph shall be issued by the Academy of Administration which will be subject to its quality and must be reviewed by an autonomous referee designated by the Academy. Monograph’s copyright will vest in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration.

2. There will be a presentation after every 03 months of the progress in front of the Academic Council of the Academy. Fellowship Continuance will be depending upon satisfactory progress. Fellows can at the same time pursue other professional / academic assignments till the time that do not get in the way with the research work of fellows.

3. Secondary sources should be the basis of Research. Fellowship will not be extended to the proposals of research on the basis of Field/ Primary Research.

3. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration will be having full constitutional rights to use the monograph’s contents submitted by the Fellow for Training or Academic purpose.

About:

Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration is a training & research institute on the policy of public and public administration in India. The academy was established in Charleville Hotel, obtained by the Government of Indian in 1959. The Happy Valley Club area was also soon obtained to house the sports complex for the institution. The academy was initially named the National Academy of Administration. In the honor of Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri soon after his demise in 1966 the academy was renamed on his name. The first director of the academy was A.N. Jha. Operated by India’s federal Union Government, LBSNAA is located in the remote town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in the foothills of the Himalayas. The academy’s main purpose is to train civil service officers of the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Revenue Service and the Indian Foreign Service.
