KLEU AIET 2014 Details of Qualifying Criteria and Marking Scheme
The KLE University conducts the common entrance exam also called as the All India Entrance Test (AIET) for admitting students in the Under Graduate level courses including the following: MBBS/ BDS respectively. The KLE Belgam Karnataka conducts the concerned entrance exam usually in the first week of May for all the eligible applicants. Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants should have passed Intermediate/ Class 12th with a minimum of 60% marks in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English respectively. There will be 50 questions per section in the exam.
Paper Pattern & Qualifying Criteria:
There will be objective type question paper having 50 questions per section on the following main subjects:
Physics (50 Questions)
Chemistry (50 Questions)
Botany (50 Questions) and
Zoology (50 Questions)
Total Number of Questions: 200
Duration of Exam: 3 Hours/ 180 Minutes
The candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer marked by them while there will be a zero marks awarded in case of wrong answers attempted by them respectively. The applicants should attempt as many number of questions as they like to gain more marks in the concerned entrance exam.
Syllabus for Study:
The KLE University All India Entrance Test shall be conducted as per the syllabus of the HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) Examination in the manner as specified by the concerned Board for this purpose.
The candidates who qualify in the KLE University AIET shall be called to attend the counseling scheduled to be held on the dates as specified for this purpose. The final selections shall be done subject to their performances in the entrance exam and marks obtained in the qualifying exam as specified for this purpose.
