The KLE University Belgaum is a renowned name in the field of medical education and research in India. The university better called as the “KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research” has been declared as a deemed to be university by the Ministry of HRD India and recognized by NAAC as ‘A’ grade for its educational services. The university provides admissions in a number of courses including the following: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Ayurveda, DM/ M.Ch, PhD, Allied Courses, Music and Biostatistics courses respectively. The university education is available through the following constituent colleges: KLE’s JN Medical College, KLE’s VK Institute of Dental Sciences, KLE College of Pharmacy, KLE’s Institute of Nursing Sciences and KLE’s BMK Ayurveda College respectively.

To get admissions under university courses, applicants need to appear and qualify the common entrance exam as conducted for this purpose. The entrance exam conducted is popularly called as the All India Entrance Test (AIET). The candidates qualifying this exam shall be able to avail admissions in the following under graduate as well as post graduate courses of the university: MBBS, BDS, BPT, BAMS, B.Sc. Nursing, and Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharma, MPT, MD Ayurveda, M.Sc. Nursing and M.Pharma respectively. The last KLU AIET was conducted on 10th May 2014 for all the eligible candidates.
