# The candidate should clear 10 + 2 examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Institution;
# At least seventy percent marks must be obtained in subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry;

Procedure for Selection

# The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of a Psychological Test or Group Test and Interview Session;

Age Criteria

# The age of the candidates applying in Indian Military must lie between 16 and a half to 19 and a half years;
# Their birth date must fall between 1st day of January 1993 to 1st day of January 1996;

Application Procedure

# The candidate can apply directly using online mode at official website at – www.joinindianarmy.nic.in;
# Two copies of Application form in the form of print outs should be taken out after filling the application form for future reference;
# One copy should be mailed to the official address as mentioned in the website after duly signing and pasting photographs on it;
# Another copy should be kept safely for SSB interview;
# Along with the Application Form, necessary documents and credentials must also be attached after being certified by a Gazetted Officer;
