Indian Law Institute Admission Form 2014 Details of Courses, Admission & Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Law Institute (ILI) has been established in the year 1956 for providing admissions to the eligible candidates in the field of law and other allied fields. The Indian Law Institute Delhi invites admission every year in the different master and doctoral programmes in the month of May/ June respectively. The Indian Law Institute New Delhi is an autonomous body registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.

The applicants will be admitted in the Indian Law Institute Delhi Courses through the ILI Common Admission Test scheduled to be held on 14th June 2014. The results for the concerned entrance exam will be announced by 21st June 2014. The applicants qualifying in the concerned entrance exam will be called for the GD/ PIs scheduled to be held subsequently after the conduct of the written examination.

2. LLM (2 Year)

3. PG Diploma Courses

4. Online Certificate Courses

5. PhD in Law courses respectively

Details of Programmes –

1. LLM –Two Year Degree Course

Seats Available: 30

Eligibility for Admissions: The applicants should be graduate in law with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in the concerned qualifying examination from any Bar Council of India recognized university/ college. The applicants in the final year of their qualifying examination can also apply provided they can produce their results by the end of the admission process.

2. LLM –One Year Course

Seats: 20

Eligibility for Admissions:

The applicants should be LLB passed with a minimum of 50% marks from any law colleges recognized by the Bar Council of India for this purpose. Those applicants who are in their final year of exam may also apply provided they can produce their results by the time of admission get over.

3. PG Diploma in Specialized Branches of Law

Eligibility for Admissions:

The applicants should be graduation passed from any discipline in order to take admissions in the PG Diploma Courses except labor laws. The admissions shall be done specifically for the following disciplines: Cyber Law, Corporate Law and Management, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Labor Law, Environment Law and Management, Intellectual Property Rights Law respectively. Almost five seats shall be reserved for the law graduate students.

4. Online Certificate Courses:

The candidates will be offered certificate courses in the following: Intellectual Property Rights and Information Technology in Internet Age and Cyber Laws respectively.

Eligibility for Admissions:

The applicants should be either holding degrees or diploma from any discipline for enrolling in the online certificate courses of the Law Institute. The candidates should have computers and proper internet connections in order to enroll in this course of the institute.

5. PhD Courses

Seats: 05

Eligibility for Admissions:

The applicants should be holding a masters degree in law with a minimum of 55% marks and must be having a research plan in brief in order to apply in the PhD courses of the university.
