During the interview, SP Hundeyin referenced the Force PRO’s statement, affirming their commitment to initiating an investigation. He noted that if necessary, the body could be exhumed for an autopsy to assist in the inquiry.

The revelation followed the emergence of a document in which the late singer had accused a music promoter named Samson Balogun, also known as Sam Larry, and others of oppression, assault, and other crimes. Mohbad, along with another musician named Omoniyi Temidayo, alias Zlatan Ibile, was involved in a video shoot when Sam Larry and a group of armed individuals invaded the location and threatened violence, according to Mohbad’s plea on June 27, 2023.
