The office of the IISC (Indian Institute of Science) Bangalore was first founded in the year 1909 that later in the year 1958 received the status of Deemed University from the Government of India. It offers BS degree that is a four-year program organized with eight semesters.

Application Process, Fees:

a) Online application by login into I I S C website www.iisc.ernet.in/ug can be made
b) Fee for applying online is Rs. 400 for General /O B C/ K M students whereas Rs. 200 for Schedule Cast /Schedule Tribe/ students. After submission, a printed copy should be delivered to I I S C.
c) Payment through SBI/Canara Bank’s net banking or Credit Card. For offline payment student should use SBI/Canara bank Challan.

IISC Exam Pattern

Eligibility criteria:

• Student must need to pass the 10 + 12 or equivalent examination, in this case student who’s examination will over before the date can apply for the course.
• Student must need to pass with phsc, Math, Chem in the 10 plus 2 levels of examinations.
• Student must need to pass with 60 per cent of career avg on those 10 + 2 level.

Admission procedure:

Interested candidate will be selected on the basics of passing score, in this case based on the merit list of one of following national exams: K V P Y-S A , K V P Y-S B [appeared in 2011], K V P Y- S X [appeared in 2011], I I T- JEE (appeared in 2012 and securing a minimum of 170 marks (G N), 153 marks (O B C- N C L), 85 marks (Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribe) , AIEEE [appearing in 2012 and securing a minimum of 180 marks (G N), 162 marks (O B C- N C L), 90 marks (Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribe), and A I P M T. It is to be noted that students appearing in 2012 and being selected in the main merit list will be selected for the application.
