IIMC (The Indian Institute of Mass Communication) is one of the leading institutes for training, teaching & research in the field of mass communication in India. It was established in 1965 by the Government of India on the reference of an internationally known mass communication specialist’s team from UNESCO & the Ford Foundation. The IIMC apart from its head office at New Delhi also has 03 Regional Centres situated in Amravati (Maharashtra), Aizawl (Mizoram), & Dhenkanal (Orissa). Candidates need to have Graduation Degree in any stream. The students whose degree course is not yet over and pursuing the same can also apply, after the selection candidates are supposed to produce a provisional certificate (original copy) issued from their respective university / college before Aug 31st of the current year and if the candidate get fail in their Degree course, their admission will be cancelled.

Criteria for Selection:
The eligible aspirants (which will be decided as per the application received and the right to call any student is reserved to the institute) will be called for the entrance exam which will be held at the following cities – New Delhi, Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Mumbai, Guwahati, Nagpur, Aizawl, Bhopal, Jammu, Kashmir, Kochi & Chennai. Who so ever qualify the written test as per the rank order will be called for Group Discussion / Interview. The candidates have to come and attend the exam, GD, PI on their own cost / expense.
