Eligibility Standards:

Only candidates who possess the concerned degree from a recognized university established under an Act of Parliament can apply. No diploma certificate holders are allowed to apply provided they are having Bachelor’s Degree as well.

Admission Criteria:

The IIBM select the students on the following basis:

i. Score Card of Common Admission Test (CAT, in case of IIMs) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

ii. Evaluation of candidates’ academic scores right from the beginning

ii. Working experience in the same field of operation as required will also have some weightage

iii. After passing all the above said criteria, an individual Interview & writing skills will also be conducted for final process of admission.

About:

IIMB is a public- sector institution which is of national importance i.e. self- governing, Standalone School of Management & not part of any other university. The IIMB was established in the year 1973 by the Indian Government through the formation of an IIMB Society viz the legal body behind this institution. The School of Management works within the “National Policy Guidelines” set up by the Human Resource Development Ministry, Government of India. The Board of Governors supervises this school and gives tactical directions. The Director who is the head of the institution, and two Deans leads this School of Management.
