The GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is conducted for selecting candidates eligible in scholarships under Master of Pharmacy Courses. The exam is conducted every year by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) for all B.Pharma degree holders in the months of January/ February respectively. The applicants selected in the exam will be able to avail admissions in different post graduate programmes in Pharmacy. Details of GPAT 2015-

Name of Exam: Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test

Conducting Organization: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Courses of Admissions: M.Pharma

Eligibility for Exam:

The applicants should hold a bachelors degree in Pharmacy of four years duration after Intermediate. Those candidates who are appearing for the final year exam of qualifying degree may also apply for the exam concerned.

Scheme/ Pattern of Exam:

The GPAT Exam 2015 shall be conducted in online modes with 125 objective type questions to be asked from core subjects studied in qualifying examination. The applicants shall be given penalized for their wrong attempts in the form of 1 mark deducted and 4 marks for each correct answer marked by them respectively.

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

Time of Exam:

Ist Session: 9:30 am to 12:30 am

IInd Session: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Date of Exam: 23rd February 2015 & 24th February 2015

Centres of Examination:

The exam shall be concluded at 58 centres of examination as designated for this purpose:

Allahabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Kolhapur, Nanded, Vadodara, Tirupati, Nellore, Bhopal, Aurangabad, Amravati, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Noida, Surat, Mysore, Kanpur, Bhubaneswar, Indore, Gulbarga, Indore, Guwahati, Panaji, Raipur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Meerut, Mysore, Shimla, Srinagar, Tirupati, Thiruvananthapuram, Ranchi, Rajkot, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Jabalpur, Dehradun, Delhi, Kurnool, Lucknow, Mangalore, Madurai, Warangal, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Patna, Pune, Kochi, Jammu, Jaipur, Bareilly, Bhavnagar and Kolkata respectively

Manner of Selection:

On the basis of merit list prepared for this purpose by the respective state governments and central counseling scores awarded to avail admissions in all AICTE approved institutes or university departments.

Applying Details:

Apply online at the website of aicte-gpat.in for registering in the GPAT 2015. The candidates shall pay Rs 1400 + Bank Charges (Rs 700 + bank Charges for SC/ST/PD) towards application fee through cash payment by online generated challan of SBI or Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card payments as per their conveniences.

Dates of Significance:

Date of Opening Online Registration: 13th November 2014

Date of Closing Online Registration: 12th January 2015

Date for taking Print out of Admit Cards: from 2nd February 2015 to 24th February 2015

 Dates of Examination: 23rd February 2015 & 24th February 2015

Declaration of Results: 27th March 2015

Print out of Score Cards: 27th March 2015 to 27th April 2015
