Pay band 2: Rs 9300- Rs 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs 4400 [for SSA]

Norms of Eligibility:
The candidates in order to get selected in the posts mentioned should possess the minimum educational qualifications as specified below.
Post 1: Should have a graduate degree in either of the following disciplines from any recognized institutes/ university of India –Environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Aquatic Biology/ Marine Biology/ Bio Science/ Bio Technology. In addition to this, candidates should have the basic knowledge of Computer Applications as specified in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967 and adequate knowledge of Gujarati /Hindi language.
Post 2: Should have a graduate degree in either of the following disciplines passed from any recognized university or institutes of India –Commerce/ Arts/ Law/ Business Administration /Science along with the basic knowledge of Computer Applications as specified in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967 and adequate knowledge of Gujarati /Hindi language.

Age Bar:
The candidates should lie in the following age limits in order to get selected under concerned recruitment: 18- 30 years for Post 1 and 18-28 years for Post 2 respectively brought into effect from the date of closing recruitment. Age relaxations will be given to General category female candidates and ST and SEBC male candidate upto 5 years and ST and SEBC female candidate upto 10 years as specified.
Manner of Selection:
Applicants will be selected through written exam and / or interview as scheduled and conducted for this purpose.
