Students who desire to get admission in the colleges under GBTU (Gautam Buddha Technical University) under the academic session starting in 2013 need to appear in the UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) 2013. This examination is conducted to get admission in Graduation courses in various Engineering programs, or Management programs, Fashion Designing programs, Architect programs, Hotel Management programs and Pharmacy programs etc.

Qualified candidates will be placed in the colleges affiliated to GBTU in Lucknow & MTU in Noida.
Reservation of seats for UP minors:
Schedule Caste – 21 per cent
Schedule Tribe – 2 per cent
Other Backward Caste – 27 per cent
(5 per cent seats will be reserved for NRIs as per AICTE terms).
Minimum Academic Requirements:
• First Yr B.Tech Eligibility Criteria – Candidates are required to pass 12th or equivalent standard from UP or other state board with Math, Phsc and Chem/Bio/Bio-Tech/Comp-Sc with at least 45 per cent of career Avg. For minors the criteria will be 40 per cent.
• Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria – Candidates need to complete the 3rd or 4th yr diploma program from UP board affiliated colleges with 60 per cent minimum marks.
Application Procedure: Candidates can submit the form both online & offline. For candidates willing to go offline forms will be available along with instruction brochure on Head P.O. and MDG (Mukhya Dak Ghar) in the relevant state from first week of March.
