The admission form and the official prospectus will be available on its web portal- fmuniversity.nic.in most likely from 2^nd June, 2014 onwards. Conditions of Eligibility:

Applicants seeking admissions to any of the aforesaid programmes must have cleared 3 year Degree Examination in their relevant discipline of Sciences, Commerce or Arts from the Fakir Mohan University or any equivalent examination under a recognized University by the Academic Council with Honours in the concerned subject or having the concerned subject as a pass/elective subject with 50% marks in the aggregate. Nevertheless, appearing students are also eligible to apply for admissions to the University by submitting their Provisional Certificate and Mark Sheet of the qualifying examinations before the Entrance Test.

How to Apply:

Keen and eligible aspirants who are willing to take admissions in the above mentioned programmes, can get the Application form and the Prospectus from the Cash Counter at P. G. Central Office situated at the New Campus at Nuapadhi as well as Dr. H. K. Mahatab Library situated at the Old Campus near Remuna Golai, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha between 11 AM and 2 PM on all working days on cash payment of Rs. 200/-. However, students may also download the same from the University website that is- fmuniversity.nic.in . The Prospectus and the prescribed Application form will be available from 2^nd June, 2014 onwards. Once obtained, send the appropriately filled in application accompanied with a crossed Demand Draft amounting to an application fee of Rs.200/- drawn favoring the “Comptroller of Finance, Fakir Mohan University” payable at Balasore to the announced address as specified in the prospectus.

Selection Procedure:

Selection for admission into different courses shall be made on the basis of qualifying examination marks and performance in the entrance test. For P.G. admission, the weightage for qualifying examination and entrance test shall be 30% and 70% respectively. However, for M.Phil and M.Tech admission, the same shall be equal i.e. 50% each. Absence of a candidate in the entrance test shall disqualify him/ her from the admission process. The entrance written test will cover the pass syllabus of the subject in the qualifying examination of Fakir Mohan University along with general questions.
