DUSET Exam Pattern 2014 Criteria of Selection and Marking Scheme Details
The Delhi University SET (Super- Speciality Entrance Test) is the national level entrance exam conducted for the admission of eligible candidates in the different courses available under Delhi University Super- Speciality Course Curriculum. The entrance exam is organized and conducted by the Delhi University every year in the months of June/ July respectively. The exam for the present session is scheduled to be held on 7th June 2014 & 8th June 2014 respectively. Name of Exam: Delhi University Super Speciality Entrance Test
Conducting Authority: Delhi University
Courses of Admission: DM Cardiology/ Neurology/ Medical Gastroenterology; M.Ch. Cardio-Vascular & Thoracic Surgery/ Surgical Gastroenterology/ Neuro Surgery/ Peadiatric Surgery
Eligibility for Exam:
The applicants should have passed post graduation degree in MD (Doctorate of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) before 31st May of the concerned year of admissions from any recognized university or any other equivalent institution recognized from MCI (Medical Council of India) for this purpose.
Pattern of Paper & Qualifying Criteria:
The question paper for the Delhi University Super Speciality Entrance Test will be conducted in objective modes having MCQs divided into following three parts-
1. Paper I (80 Questions)
Marks Allotted: 320
Time Allotted: 2 Hours
2. Paper II (For DM Candidates only) 120 Questions
Marks Allotted: 480
Time Allotted: 2 Hours
3. Paper III (For M.Ch. Candidates only) 120 Questions
Marks Allotted: 480
Time Allotted: 2 Hours
Marking Criteria:
The candidates will be penalized in the form of one mark deducted for all the incorrect answers attempted by them. The correct attempts shall fetch 4 marks per question in the concerned entrance exam.
There will be a total of four options in the exam, the candidates are advised to choose the most appropriate one to score more in the concerned exam.

Paper I: Common Paper of Surgery
Date of Exam: 7th June 2014
Time of Exam: 09:00 am to 10:20 am
Paper II: M.Ch Neuro Surgery- 10:50 am to 12:50 pm
M.Ch Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery- 01:10 pm to 03:10 pm
M.Ch GI Surgery- 03:30 pm to 05:30 pm
3. M.Ch Super Speciality Courses
Date of Exam: 8th June 2014
Time of Exam: M.Ch Peadiatric Surgery- 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
DM Pulmonary Medicine- 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
