DTU Exam Pattern 2014
The Delhi Technological University (DTU) takes admission of eligible candidates for the MBA, B. Tech, B. E, M.Tech, and PhD course programmes. The admission in these courses takes place through JEE (Mains) Exam, CAT Exam, GATE Exam respectively. In other words, the admissions in these courses are done through performance in these National Level Aptitude Tests.
Programmes Available in DTU:
1. Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Engineering (B. Tech and B.E)
2. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
3. B. Tech + MBA Dual Degree
4. Master of Technology (M.Tech)
5. Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD)
Exam Pattern of B.Tech- 2014:
The candidates who are interested to take admission in B.Tech programmes should appear for JEE- Mains (AIEEE) Exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. The admission is done through merit basis in which 85% seats are reserved for the candidates who are residents of Delhi Region and 15% for outsiders. The merit list of shortlisted candidates constitute candidate’s performance in IIT Mains (60% weightage) and Class XII (40% weightage).
Exam Pattern of MBA-2014:
The candidates should appear and pass Common Admission Test (CAT) held in 2013 for admission in IIMs and top B- schools of India. On the basis of percentile secured by candidate in CAT, they will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The final list will be prepared on merit basis.
Exam Pattern of M.Tech-2014:
The candidates must pass GATE-2014 Admission Test which is held for admission in various engineering/technology disciplines at Master level. The candidate must secure minimum qualifying marks in their respective category so as to shortlisted for the DTU further selection rounds.
NOTE: The candidates should fill up the online application form for the concerned study programme furnishing all the details. The candidate shortlisted finally will be intimated for attending counseling process.
