The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) invites applications from aspiring students for admissions in various management programmes approved by the same every year. The council conducts a National Level Common Management Admission Test also known as CMAT twice a year for facilitating institutions to select eligible candidates. This admission notification and online application link will be available on its official web page aicte-cmat.in. Interested aspirants are requested to go through the following details carefully and apply as soon as the next admission notice is declared.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be holding an entrance test, namely- CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) at its different centers across India for shortlisting of the eligible applicants for admission to the post graduate management programmes. The applicants willing for admission will be selected solely on the base of their Merit which will be decided according to their performance in this entrance exam. The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.
Eligible and enthusiastic candidates fulfilling the criteria eligibility as per the official notification may register online via aicte-cmat.in. The e-application form must be filled carefully with your personal, academic and payment details. While applying online, all applicants are liable to make a non refundable payment of Rs.1200/- as examination fee through SBI Challan, Internet Banking or Credit/Debit Card. However, SC, ST and PD candidates will be relaxed with an examination fee of Rs.600/- only. After successfully completing the application process, submit the page and retain a hard copy of it for further use.
All applicants must be in possession of their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or must be Final year students of Bachelor Courses (under 10+2+3 pattern) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for 2014 for appearing in the CMAT.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was established in the year 1945 with a view to the proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education system throughout the country, the promotion of qualitative improvements of such education in relation to planned quantitative growth and the regulation and proper maintenance of norms and standards in the technical education system and for matters connected therewith. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Cell was constituted to coordinate all activities related to conduct of first national level test for admission in to all management programmes in AICTE approved institutions.
