CLAT Admit Card

CLAT or Common Law Admission Test is a national level examination that is conducted to invite applications from interested candidates to appear in a Law Entrance Examination. There are fourteen Law Universities in India where admissions are available by successfully passing the entrance examination. Admissions are available in both graduation as well as post graduation law courses. Under graduate courses are of five year duration. It was decided that the entrance examination for admissions in any of these fourteen law universities will be conducted by rotation. The candidates need to fill CLAT Application Form for the same.

CLAT Entrance Exam

Academic Criteria

For UG Programs

# Candidates interested to appear for this examination need to pass 10+2 or Senior Secondary examination from any recognised board
# Minimum forty five percent marks need to be scored for candidates who belong to General Category
# Minimum forty percent marks need to be scored for candidates who belong to Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste Category

For PG Programs

# Candidates interested to join a post graduate course through this examination need to clear LLB from any recognised University
# Minimum fifty five percent marks need to be scored for candidates who belong to General Category
# Minimum fifty percent marks need to be scored for candidates who belong to Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste Category

Age Criteria

# The candidates appearing to gain admission in undergraduate examination should not be more than twenty years in age as on 1st day of July, 2013 for general category candidates
# The candidates appearing to gain admission in undergraduate examination should not be more than twenty two years in age as on 1st day of July, 2013 for Schedule tribe, Schedule Caste category candidates
