Name of the Examination- The examination name is Common Admission Test (CAT)
Name of the Programme- The CAT will be conducted for the enrollment in Post Graduate Programmes in Managements. The programme names are given below:

Educational Qualification-As for minimum qualification, the candidate should possess Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST PWD candidates) from a recognized University/Institute.
Mode of Examination- The CAT will carry 100 MCQ questions. The test medium will be only in English.
Exam Centres- The CAT exam Centres will be at various places in India.
How to Apply for CAT Application 2016
Application Fee- Candidates will have to pay Rs.1700/-(General/OBC) and Rs.850/- (SC/ST/PWD) as application fee.
Application Process- Candidates who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of IIMCAT on or before 22-09-2016.
