AP TET Exam 2015 details of Eligibility, Application & Selection Procedure at dseap.gov.in

The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has recently published employment notification for recruitment of School Assistants, Language Pandits, Physical Education Teachers and Secondary Grade Teachers respectively. The applicants shall be hired for Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad Schools of Government by qualifying in Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test held for this purpose on specified dates. Online application forms should be submitted by all eligible candidates wishing to participate under this recruitment latest by 17th January 2015 in the manner as prescribed below.

Eligibility for Exam:

The applicants should be at least intermediate/ graduation passed with a minimum of 45% marks in any discipline from a recognized university along with a regular full time degree in B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) / Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E.I.Ed.) of four years duration or Diploma in Elementary Education of two years duration or two years diploma in Education (Special Education) or graduation passed with a minimum of 50% marks along with a diploma in Education of one year duration (Special Education) course or graduation passed with a minimum of 50% marks and four year Bachelor in Elementary Education course respectively. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get an exemption of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Applicants who are applying in the post of Language Pandits should have studied the concerned language as main subject of study in Graduation.

Scheme of Examination-

The candidates shall be required to qualify Paper I and Paper II for getting selected in the post of Secondary Grade Teachers (Class VI to VIII). Those who wish to work as Primary School Teachers (Class I to V) should pass first paper compulsorily with the required merit as specified for this purpose. Both the papers of TET/ TRT shall be of 2 and half duration respectively.

1) Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

2) Language I (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

3) Language II (English) (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

4) Mathematics (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

5) Environmental Studies (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

Total No. of Questions: 150

Total Marks Allotted: 150

Paper II Schemata-

1) Child Development and Pedagogy (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

2) Language I (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

3) Language II (English) (30 Questions) – 30 Marks

4) Mathematics and Science or Social Studies (60 Questions) – 60 Marks

Total No. of Questions: 150

Total Marks Allotted: 150

The applicants can chose the language of paper from English or any other regional language as per their choices.

Selection Criteria:

The applicants shall be selected through the minimum cut off marks and merit criteria as required for exam concerned. The applicants belonging to OC Category should obtain at least 60% marks for qualifying in exam concerned whereas applicants belonging to SC/ST/PH Categories should get at least 40% mark to qualify.
