AIPGMEE Admission 2014-15
The National Board of Examinations will be inviting applications from keen and qualified Indian nationals who are willing to take admission in MD, MS & PG Diploma Courses for the new academic session- 2014. The selections will be done through an Entrance Test named AIPGMEE (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination). Therefore all aspirants are advised to go through the below mentioned particulars and proceed for the application process as soon as the notification for same is issued on nbe.gov.in.
Criteria of Eligibility:
All applicants must be in possession of their M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or any foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
Applicants are liable to remit a non refundable registration or examination fee worth Rs.3750/- (Rs.2750/- for reserved candidates) before applying for the AIPGMEE. This payment is to be made through a PGET Voucher which can be purchased from the chosen Axis Bank branches.
Candidates who are fascinated and fulfill the entire criteria of admission to the programmes may apply online via National Board of Examination website- nbe.gov.in. They also need to obtain the Information Bulletin-cum-Exam Fee Voucher from any of the designated Axis Bank branches. After successful payment, fill the online application form as instructed in the Information Bulletin with all your authentic personal, educational and payment details. Submit the form after cross checking all the details and finally take print out of it for further use. Make sure that you complete this whole procedure within the announced due dates.
The Admittance of applicants for the aforesaid programmes is made every year through an All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination commonly known as AIPGMEE conducted at various centres across India. The final dates scheduled for these exams will also be available on its official site. Candidates, who get through this AIPGMEE by obtaining the qualifying marks, are called further for counseling and/or Personal Interview.
The Government of India recognized the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in the year 1975 with the purpose of improving the eminence of the Medical Education by creating elevated and consistent principles of PG exams in modern medicine on National Basis and operating accessible healthcare infrastructure for capacity building. National Board of Examinations conducts entry and exit tests at PG and PD level and licensing examinations as Screening Test for Indian Nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications.
