AIEEE Counseling 2014 Details of Seat Allotment and Admission Process

The All India Engineering Entrance Exam is now better called as the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) Main 2014. The written exam for the JEE Main was conducted on 6^th April 2014 for Paper I and Paper II. Whereas the exam in online modes for Paper I only on the following dates: 9^th April 2014, 11^th April 2014, 12^th April 2014 and 19^th April 2014 respectively. The counseling for the JEE Main Exam is scheduled to be held from 1^st July 2014.

Counseling Procedure for JEE Main 2014 Exam:

1. The applicants will be required to register online at the website of Central Seat Allocation Board i.e. csab.nic.in.

2. Then the locking of choices may be done online. The locking of choices will start from 6^th July 2014 to 9^th July 2014.

3. The locking of seats shall be followed by the first, second and third/ final rounds of seats allotment.

4. The candidates will be required to pay the required amount of application fee after each round of seat allotment.

5. The applicants should also be present at the Reporting Centers as specified in person to confirm their seat allotments.

6. The final admissions shall be considered closed after the spot round of seat allotment which includes the following: Online Registration, Online Choices Filling, Online Fee Payment and Online Choice Locking respectively.

The seat allocation process is scheduled to be over by 7^th August 2014. The admissions of the applicants shall be strictly done on the basis of the merit and cut off marks as decided by the concerned colleges participating in the JEE Main 2014. These include all the 30 NITs (National Institute of Technology’s); 6 IITs/ IIITM/ IIITDM and 13 Central/State Government Funded Institutes and Self Financed Technical Institutes respectively.
