Position: Judicial Service Examination

Eligibility: LLB

Location: West Bengal

Job Details

Qualification: (i) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Government of India; (ii) A degree in Law from any University or Institution affiliated to any University recognized by the State Government or the Central Government; (iii) Enrolment as an advocate in the roll of Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India on the date of advertisement for the examination; (iv) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Subdivisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong ).

No of Post: Total 30 [UR – 19, BC Category A – 03, BC Category B – 02, SC – 03, ST – 02, PH – 01].

Pay Scale : Rs.27700-44770

Age : Not less than 23 years and not more than 35 years on the date of advertisement for the examination, i.e. on 11.02.2012

Candidates may compelete their application in the given proforma may be submitted personally in open condition at the enquiry counter of the Commission’s office at 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 between 11-00 a.m. and 03-30 p.m. on all working days (Saturdays and Sundays are holidays) or sent by post (strictly by registered or speed post or U.C.P.) on or before 12th March, 2012 to the Deputy Secretary (Examination), Public Service Commission, West Bengal .Superscribing on the envelope the advertisement no. and name of the examination.
